Overview

The Synonym Bulk Operation feature allows you to efficiently manage synonyms in bulk. This functionality is essential for large-scale synonym management, enabling you to export and import synonym lists quickly and accurately. Follow the instructions below to perform synonym bulk operations using the dashboard.

Exporting Synonyms

1. To navigate to the Synonym Administration page, click on the "Workbench" tab in the top navigation bar.

2. Next, click on the "Keyword Search" tab in the left navigation

3. Then click on the "Synonyms" from the menu. You will then be taken to the Synonym Administration page.

4. Select the synonyms that you would like to export

5. Click on "Actions" then select "Export selected"

6. Finally click on "Download File" to download the XSLX file

   

Importing Synonyms

Please do not create a new XSLX file from scratch. Please download the template file provided on the dashboard and edit it if you prefer not to use the exported file.

The "Synonym Bulk Load" page streamlines your workflow by enabling you to upload multiple synonyms simultaneously, saving you the time and effort of entering them individually.

1. To navigate to the Synonym Bulk Load page, click on the "Workbench" tab in the top navigation bar.

2. Next, click on the "Keyword Search" link in the left navigation

3. Then click on the "Synonyms" from the menu. You will then be taken to the Synonym Administration page.

4. Select the "Bulk Load" tab at the top of the page.

5. Click "Upload" to upload your XSLX file

6. Select "Continue".

7. Confirm that your XSLX file had been uploaded properly and select "Import Synonyms" to start the process.

   

8. Remember to create a new index to ensure the new synonyms take effect.
