How do I change the default sorting rule for landing pages?

If you've already enabled the Field for sorting, it will be listed as an option in the "Sort Items By" drop down menu when editing or creating a Landing Page:

If you haven't enabled the field you wish to sort by, you can do so by going through the following steps:

1. Click the pencil icon to edit the desired field

   

2. Check the "Field Type" to make sure that field content is indexed "as is" (whether it is also stemmed is irrelevant).

   

3. Verify the "Enable Sorting" field is set to "ON"

   

4. Save your changes and rebuild the index to apply the changes.
