    2. Ask AI simplifies the content management process by providing one-click solutions to common challenges such as proofreading, tone adjustment, enhancement, summarization, and paraphrasing.

Bulk Import Boost/Bury Rules

  2. Description: We've introduced a bulk import feature for boost/bury rules, aimed at streamlining the process of transferring these rules between different search engines. This functionality allows you to efficiently manage search optimization by using a specially designed template that ensures data is correctly formatted for seamless transitions. The system automatically distinguishes between global and conditional rules by analyzing trigger field values in the import file, simplifying rule application and integration.

    1. Efficient Rule Transfer: Enables the smooth transfer of boost/bury rules between engines, supported by a compatible export/import format.
    2. Simplified Process: Reduces the need for manual rule entry, saving time and lowering the risk of errors.

API Expansion for Recommendation Visibility Rules and Visitor Targets

  2. Description: We have expanded our API capabilities to include both single and bulk operations for managing visibility rules in recommendations and visitor targets. This update introduces a comprehensive set of new endpoints, designed to streamline the process of adding, retrieving, updating, and deleting visibility rules for recommendations, as well as facilitating the bulk addition of visitor targets. These enhancements aim to eliminate the cumbersome manual management via the workbench, offering a more efficient and scalable solution.

    1. Enhanced Flexibility and Efficiency: The ability to manage rules through API endpoints significantly reduces manual effort and allows for more agile content strategy adjustments.

Enhanced Search API with Visibility Rule Information

  1. Prerequisites: Available for HawkSearch v4.0.

  2. Description: We've made a crucial update to our Search API. Now, it includes detailed visibility rule information for items within the search results. This enhancement is designed to significantly improve the debugging process by directly showing which specific visibility rules are applied to each item. This update aims to save time and provide clearer insights for those managing extensive lists of visibility rules, enhancing the overall understanding and management of search result dynamics.

  3. Key highlights:

    1. Visibility Rule Insights: Quickly identify which visibility rules are affecting item visibility within search results.
    2. Streamlined Troubleshooting: Simplify the process of determining why certain items do not appear in search results.

  4. Location: To view the visibility rule applied to an item, please follow the following instructions

    1. Within the search request, please ensure "IsInPreview" is set to true

    2. Within the search request, please ensure "VisibilityRules" is set to false

    3. Then if an item were hidden by a visibility rule, you will be able to see the rule information within Explain. For example:

"Search Information Manager (SIM) is now Measurement Conversion"

    We're excited to announce a significant update to our platform: the renaming of our "Search Information Manager (SIM)" feature to "Measurement Conversion". This change reflects our commitment to providing you with tools that not only enhance search functionality but also offer comprehensive solutions for data normalization and conversion.
  2. Why "Measurement Conversion"?
    The new name, Measurement Conversion, more accurately describes the feature's capabilities, emphasizing its utility in handling measurement conversions and data normalization within search or indexing operations through Unit of Measure operation or regular expressions (RegEx) operation. This feature is designed to streamline your data processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency across your search and indexing contexts.
