Redirect Tracking - Daily Report

Overview

Redirect Tracking reports provides information on the searches that were redirected on a specific date. Filters can be used to focus on results from a specific redirect rule or redirect URL.

Navigating to Redirect Tracking - Daily Report

  1. After navigating to the reports page, by clicking on the Reports tab on the top navigation bar.
  2. You can either select " Redirect Tracking - Daily Report" from the left navigation or select it from the Reports Home Page. Either link will take you to the Redirect Tracking - Daily Report page.

Customizing the Redirect Tracking - Daily Report

  1. Date: select a date range of when to pull the data. There are several popular options included in the drop-down. Additionally, you can select the option for "other" and then specify a customized date campaign. This last option is helpful for creating reports organized around time sensitive campaigns.
  2. Rule Name: Using the drop down menu, select a particular redirect rule to see tracking results for that specific rule.
  3. Redirect URL: Input a URL (or URL's separated by commas) to search for redirect rules by a specific redirect URL.

Additional Options

  1. Search: Clicking the "Search" button will cause the display of the reports to change according to your newest specifications.
  2. Export: To export the report to an excel document, click on the "Export" button.
  3. Clear: The "Clear" button will delete any changes that you have made and return all values to their defaults.

Understanding Your Results

  • Date – date on which the redirect occurred
  • Rule Name – name of the redirect rule that was triggered on the date
  • Redirect Url – the URL the redirect rule pointed to
  • Redirects Count – number of times the redirect rule was triggered on the date
