Our focus this cycle has been on making Concept/Smart Search results more consistent and trustworthy, especially during pagination and repeat requests, while also addressing several UI and SEO-related behaviors that impact real-world customer experiences.

Release Highlights

• Concept Search consistency improvements – Concept Search now returns a more consistent number of results across repeated requests, reducing confusing shifts in result totals (especially noticeable when paginating in Preview).
• Relevance tuning enhancements for AI-powered search – Improvements to Concept Search normalization and Smart Search relevance help reduce late-result quality drop-off and better align score behavior across search modes.
• Advanced Preview usability updates – Enhancements to Preview workflows (including Visitor Target behavior) make it easier to validate and troubleshoot tuning changes accurately.
• Autocomplete Popular Searches URL fix – Popular Searches now route to the correct website/search destination rather than unintentionally linking to preview endpoints.
• UI correctness improvements – Improved handling for open range facets (including currency/non-numeric scenarios) to prevent inconsistent facet behavior in Rapid UI.
• SEO/sitemap behavior alignment – Updates ensure landing pages configured with “noindex/nofollow” settings behave more predictably with respect to indexing/sitemap generation.

Stability & Performance Updates

We also shipped reliability and performance improvements to reduce friction and improve responsiveness:

• Improved latency monitoring and tuning following OpenSearch integration, addressing elevated percentile latency patterns and helping stabilize end-user response times.
• Reduced occurrences of user-visible errors in certain search scenarios by hardening request handling and improving platform resilience in edge cases.
