March 2026
This release focuses on improving platform reliability and admin workflows, with several updates aimed at reducing edge-case errors in search execution and strengthening operational tooling. Key areas include Search API hardening, Advanced Preview configuration improvements, and continued work around analytics endpoints and background job support for engine lifecycle operations.
Release Highlights
- Advanced Preview configuration has been simplified by removing search-specific toggles and consolidating remaining toggles into dropdowns.
- New API endpoints have been added to support data used in Advanced Analytics.
- Autocomplete administration has been updated to correct the “Autocomplete Article” link in Workbench Admin Instant Engage.
- Category facet label behavior on dedicated endpoints was corrected to ensure labels display as expected (instead of numeric IDs).
- Unified/Hybrid search behavior has been improved by making pagination depth configurable.
- Recommendation strategy handling has been hardened by validating required fields exist before executing strategies.
Stability & Performance Updates
- Search API safeguards were added to reduce the chance of excessive query generation from a single term and to prevent iteration logic from running when there are no results
- Redirect service stability improvements were made to improve thread safety, null handling, and cache-miss behavior.
- Ongoing monitoring and investigation work was included to address elevated latency patterns and indexing-related reliability concerns.
- Image search handling was improved to better support missing/null field scenarios.
